Based in Longmont, Colorado, Dark Moon Designs is a scenic fabrication company serving clients nationwide. We were bred in the music festival scene and have since expanded to all kinds of live and touring events. We strive to design pieces that are logical, transportable, and that have the capacity for future adaptations.

We are driven by a need to facilitate expression, discovery and community within the audiences we serve. We cherish curiosity and we nurture the honest and vulnerable exploration of the unknown.

People always ask us what it's like to witness our art being touched, jumped over, hit, caressed or otherwise fiddled with. Our thought is that most of our ideas are born out of interacting with something and discovering a previously unknown fact or formula. Those are the moments that define an experience.
