Red Rocks Halloween
For T-Pain's sold-out Halloween show at Red Rocks, his entrance was a dramatic burst through our custom coffin, with smoke and light spilling through the cracks to illuminate the acrylic Nappy Boy sign. As he launched onto the stage, eerie trees flanked both stage right and stage left, adding to the production's cohesive, spooky atmosphere. It's always exciting to work on a project where the artist fully embraces theatricality, as it allows us to create functional pieces that enhance the overall performance.

Process Details
The coffin, standing over 8 feet tall, was tilted back at a 10-degree angle to create the illusion of it emerging from the ground while allowing for a walkthrough. The doors were framed by large foam-carved rocks, accented with dark foliage and mystical paint detailing. At the center of the coffin doors, Nappy Boy Entertainment's logo was CNC-cut, enabling a lighting fixture to project through the back and create a striking beam. Under the right conditions, T-Pain had his own personal "bat signal" shining into the Colorado sky.
Our team also CNC-cut tree silhouettes inspired by a decayed, arid tree captured in a desert photograph. These silhouettes were assembled at perpendicular angles to simulate volume and mass. Painted black, the trees stood up to 10 feet tall, adding the perfect haunting touch for the Halloween-themed production. Well, other than the fact that T-Pain's halloween costume was Donald Trump.
